To help reduce further spread of infection, Fyrishov will close all pools for public use until further notice.
For customers with passes
- The season ticket will be extended automatically by the same length of time as the pools remains closed.
- The 30-days ticket will be extended automatically with the same length of time as the pools remains closed.
- The expiry date of the 10-pass carnet will be extended automatically with the same length of time as the pools remains closed.

Corona virus – important information
Swim and exercise
Since physical activity is important for well beeing exercise and sports activities can continue, according to advice from The Public Health Agency of Sweden. If you feel unwell with cold symptoms, you should avoid contact with other people. This applies even if you only feel slightly unwell. It is important that you do not risk infecting others. Keep distance to other people and wash your hands often with soap. Cleaning procedures at Fyrishov have been strengthened to avoid transmitting the infection.

The preschool swim classes continue as usual. The Public Health Authority encourage individual training and training in small groups. Anyone who is unwell – even with mild symptoms – shall not participate.
Fyrishov in English
Fyrishov is one of the leading arenas for recreation, sports and events in Sweden. We have a large indoor pool and recreation area, a large sports complex and a camping area with chalets. There is a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
Every year a large number of events take place at Fyrishov, such as sports events, concerts and fairs. Fyrishov is open every day, all year around.
Fyrishov is situated in Uppsala, a town in the region Uppland. It´s about 70 km from Uppsala to Stockholm. Fyrishov is only a 20 minute walk from the city centre, or a 5 minute busride.
Fyrishov is an excellent starting point when exploring Uppsala, as well as other sites around Uppland and Stockholm. In Uppsala everything is close at hand; unique cultural treasures and a big city´s selection of shops and restaurants.
CABINS ARE CLOSED
Close at hand is our camping and chalet park, with 38 chalets. The chalets are equipped with 4 beds (one bunk bed in a bedroom, two bed-settees in the living room), small kitchen, toilet, shower and TV. Parking space outside your cabin. Bed linen and towels can be rented in a set. Book online here
CAMPING IS CLOSED
There are specific sites for caravans and camper vans, and plenty of room for tents in the meadow next to the river, Fyrisån. Caravan sites are marked and have power. Service building with kitchen, shower, toilet, laundry and sewage disposal. Free shower included. In the camping area you can play minigolf, boule, beachvolley, streetbasket, football or rent canoes. The nearest grocer´s shop is only a few minutes away.
Swim & exercise
We have a large pool complex with several pools. Our water park, one of the largest in Sweden, has paddling pools for toddlers and hair-raising water slides for the brave-hearted. In a tropical setting with a poolside café, there are heated jacuzzis, water toys, jet streams, water canons, waterfalls and water slides of varying lengths. And best of all – you can spend as much time as you like in the water.
We also have an Olympic-size swimming pool (50 x 25 meter) with a jump tower with levels up to 10 meter, and a spring board. There is also a 25 meter long depthadjustable teaching pool for non-swimmers (children and parents alike).
Food & beverage
In our restaurant you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. In the poolside café we serve hot meals, drinks and snacks.
