About Fyrishov
Fyrishov is one of the largest arenas for sports, events, and recreation in Sweden. We have a large indoor pool and recreation area, a sports complex and a camping area with cabins for rent. There is a café in the main building.
Every year, a large number of events take place at Fyrishov, such as sports events, concerts, conferences and fairs.
Fyrishov is a municipal arena situated in Uppsala city in Uppland county, 70 kilometers north of Stockholm. Fyrishov is a 20 minute walk from the city centre of Uppsala, or a 5 minute busride.
Fyrishov is an excellent starting point when exploring Uppsala, as well as other sites around Uppland and Stockholm. In Uppsala, everything is close at hand ─ unique cultural treasures, as well as a big city’s selection of shops and restaurants.
Cabins
The camping and cabin park at Fyrishov has 31 cabins for rent. We offer cabins ranging from 2 beds to 5 beds (one bunk bed in a bedroom, two sofa beds in the living room), a small kitchen, toilet and shower. There are parking spaces outside of the cabins. Bed linen and towels can be rented in a set.
Camping
There are 90 sites for caravans and camper vans, and plenty of room for tents in the meadow next to the river, Fyrisån. Caravan sites are marked and are equipped with electricity. There is a service building with a kitchen, shower, toilet, laundry and sewage disposal. The shower is free to use. In the camping area you can play minigolf, pétanque, beachvolley, football or rent canoes.

Swim and exercise
We have a large pool complex with several pools. Our adventure pool, one of the largest in Sweden, has paddling pools for toddlers and hair-raising water slides for the brave-hearted. In a tropical setting with a poolside café, there are heated jacuzzis, water toys, jet streams, water canons, waterfalls and water slides of varying lengths. And best of all – you can spend as much time as you like in the water.
We also have an Olympic-size swimming pool (50 x 25 meter) with a jumping tower with levels up to 10 meters, and a spring board. There is also a 25 meter long practice pool with adjustable depth for non-swimmers (children and parents alike).
